Blake Lively joined friends in New York City’s Upper East Side neighborhood to attend the launch party for a jewelry brand’s holiday collection.
The Upper East Side wasn’t a stop along the way for Blake Lively—it was a destination.
At least, that was the case for the Gossip Girl alum as she shared a special night out with friends in the New York City neighborhood Nov. 3.
While attending a holiday collection launch for jeweler Brent Neale, Lively donned a sparkling, strapless navy mini dress adorned with black ribbon bows, which she paired with a pair of strappy black heels and a chic hobo handbag.
The 39-year-old leaned into the laughter of the night, too, taking a brief moment to pose for pictures before heading inside with her friends.
Since settling her contentious legal feud with It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni in May, Lively has kept a low profile out of the public eye.
However, she proved it was no favor at all to attend the FIFA World Cup final in July, attending the matchup between Spain and Argentina with friends Kendall Glazer, Libby Glazer and Emma Gray.
Earlier that month, though, Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds—with whom she shares kids James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6 and Olin, 3—were noticeably absent from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden.
But while the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants actress and Deadpool star may be keeping out of the spotlight, they’re making sure to shine a light on the love they have for one another, just like Reynolds did for Lively’s birthday in August.
"August 25th is this family’s Super Bowl," he wrote on Instagram. "I know how lucky I am that you were born. Every time I’ve ever hit my head, it’s YOUR life that flashes before my eyes."
And to the “very best human” he knows, Reynolds added, “You’re not just another courageous and deeply kind genius. You’re also unreasonably cute."

In February 2023, Blake revealed she welcomed the couple's fourth child, a son named Olin. "We wouldn't do this four times if we didn't love it," Ryan later shared during a CNBC interview. "Everybody's doing great. Everybody's actually doing fantastic."
