Now in its 37th edition, Billboard Latin Music Week 2026 returned to the Faena Forum in Miami Beach.

The weeklong event showcased exclusive artist conversations, business panels with key executives, cross-city networking, rooftop performances, and other events across the city. The event drew thousands of attendees from around the world.

Panels covered important topics at the forefront of creativity and business for artists and labels.

Some of the most insightful discussions covered how to build effective partnerships that scale business, retain personal creativity while collaborating within teams, and how AI-generated music will impact artists’ creativity in the future.

The ‘Superstar Q&A’ dove deep into the growing popularity of regional Cuban and Mexican music and its broader cultural influence. Mexican football legend Memo Ochoa sat down with Jesús Ortiz Paz (of the American regional Mexican band Fuerza Regida) for a conversation on success, life, and the group’s early days in music.

The women’s panel, moderated by Billboard Español Deputy Editor Sigal Ratner-Arias, celebrated the global rise of female artists.

Attendees heard recollections centered on how perseverance and an unwavering will to succeed led to triumph. The panel featured several new Latin music stars from around the globe, including Ana Mena, Aria Vega, Greeicy, and LALI, among others.

Latin Music Week attendees could meet the experts who run the business through exclusive roundtable sessions at the attendee lounge. Several up-and-coming artists used the Billboard Latin platform to introduce themselves and promote releases directly to industry attendees and audiences.

Puerto Rican musician Cristalle spoke to DMN TV about her first Spanish release, Miel. “It’s a bachata song, and I want to see you dancing to it.”

Speaking about the event, Cristalle added, “There’s so much to learn here, and so many friends to make and people to connect with, to share our talent.”

Alongside panels, insightful discussions, and the nightlife, several networking events were held across the city.

A2IM and Open on Sunday Music Financing hosted an event for labels and lawyers at the Bass Museum of Art.

Live music was showcased just about everywhere, from the Envivo stage to the Furia rooftop. The venues were sold out, so anyone who didn’t arrive early likely didn’t get in.

Billboard Music Week began on Monday, October 19, 2026. The week culminated with the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday, October 22, 2026, live at the James L. Knight Center in Miami. The show featured performances across many genres, including Latin pop, tropical, and música mexicana.
